Inspired by Petrarca's Ascent of Mont Ventoux, the KOR'SIA collective looks to the humanist past to find answers to the conflicts presented by a 21st-century paradigm shift: the construction of an individual capable of rebuilding themselves and the planet.

With Mount Ventoux, the Kor'sia Collective revisits the work that Francesco Petrarca wrote in 1336, Ascent to Mont Ventoux, seemingly just a letter recounting the ascent of a mountain one afternoon in April. Through an apparently mundane ascent, Petrarca offers an alternative to the prevailing faith of the world, an ascending journey for humanity to leave behind the dark years of the Middle Ages; bringing about a paradigmatic shift for future generations: humanism.

The Kor'sia Collective understands that this story, Mont Ventoux, still offers us the opportunity of learning from the past, which can lead to a better experience of the present, and therefore the construction of a better future for all.

Today, we, the people who live together on this planet, seven centuries later and in an ever-increasing pace of life, also perceive the urgent need for a change.

Petrarca, already warned: "We have to wake up from lethargy, get out of the molds!". Under this mantra, the Kor'sia Collective wants to collaborate in giving voice to these words:

Ascend the mountain.

Recover our values.

Do a mass philanthropic exercise.

Put humanity and nature back in the center.
